   Journal 373 – Biking Adventure

I feel bad that I haven’t exercised in awhile. Almost a year – walking the dog doesn’t count, or does it? Hmmmmm.

Yesterday – Boy J and I went on a mini bike ride to Rite Aid (about 10min bike ride). I felt my thighs burn – I’m so out of shape. It felt great to be outside instead of inside working. There will be more mini bike rides after work so that I won’t wobble so much riding the bike. I’m still a newbie at riding a bike unlike Boy J. He’ll be off on another biking trip mid-April.

Joey aka the dog – didn’t poop this morning. Gosh I was so upset with him. He started barking at another dog and wouldn’t stop. I had to drag him away – so embarrassing. I need to read up on dog behavior. This gotta stop!

   Journal 372 – Writing Again

Lots have happen in the last couple months. I left my job, took a month off to enjoy life, got in a car accident, got a new car, started a new job, planning to quit that job and really focus on freelance biz. I am still not happy with my job/career situation. I’m scared but I also realize it’s not the end of the world. I can make it happen if I try really hard. Goals are good to have. I plan to make my freelance biz work!

I haven’t been writing, knitting or taking pictures. Things I enjoy and miss. SIGH.

Spring is just around the corner and hopefully I will be planting again this year.

   Journal 371 – Thursday

I’ve been unemployed for almost 3 weeks and it’s great. I do wake up at 7ish a.m. and have breakfast with Boy J and kiss him goodbye. What I don’t have to do anymore, is drive through traffic! I spend most of my days - relaxing, watching TV, travel, taking photos, knitting and of course freelancing. Also Joey aka the dog is visiting for couple months. So I’m kinda getting my exercise – he goes out 3x a day for mini walks.

Knitting Updates:
Well I made a few simple wash cloths – very easy pattern and fun to make. Also I’m in the process of making yet another scarf for Red Scarf 2007 Project which needs to be mail out by January 31, 2007.

Sewing Updates:
I’m taking Sewing I – learning how to make a shirt. Great so far!  I have my last session on Saturday – finishing up my shirt (looks like doctor/resident scrubs). I’m thinking of taking Sewing II – where you learn how to make a skirt.

Pictures of Bahamas will be posted soon. I’m having problems with my SD memory card (cheap thing – no brand name!) I’m never going to by a generic SD memory card ever!

   Journal 370 – Raining

It’s Friday and raining here – a yucky day! To do list for today – clean office – not a fun job. Lots of junk and pile all over the place. Also I want to send out a few postcards and thank you cards. Cards to make. :)

Last nite I made chicken noodle soup for dinner. Boy J was very happy – he said – “wow – I knew you can cook”. Smile!

Journal 369 – Happy New Year

2007 – can you believe it. Another year has past. Life changing event that happen in December - I left/quit my job. Now is that a good or bad thing? I think good - I’m taking a month or so off to spend quality time with ME. It’s a bit scary but deep down I know everything will be ok. Sigh

Here are a few photos of my paperwhites – loved how they look. Boy J and I don’t really like the fragrances that the flowers produce. But they were BEAUTIFUL!!!
